Furthermhours, the company’s profits are reflected in a reward system for employees, positively impacting the community and addressing societal challenges.
Environmental Policy
Our certifications in quality and environmental management, along with our “green light” concept, closely reflect our vision. ELBA products are designed to utilize modern, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly light sources.
ELBA dedicates its resources to serving customers and the environment, focusing on creating a healthy environment (low emissions, climate-controlled spaces, etc.). To achieve this, ELBA has established a dedicated department to maintain and improve the integrated quality-environment management system through:
- Drafting and updating quality-environment system documents (quality and environment manuals, system procedures)
- Reviewing and approving work procedures developed by other departments
- Conducting internal and second-party audits (system, process, product)
- Monitoring the implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Managing quality interfaces with clients and certification bodies
Waste Management (WEEE)
ELBA complies with the provisions of Government Ordinance No. 5/2015 regarding Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). Responsibility for WEEE collection, recovery, and recycling has been transferred to the RECOLAMP Association.
The cost associated with WEEE collection, management, and recycling is referred to as the “green stamp.” This fee is applied to all electrical and electronic equipment to ensure proper recycling at the end of its life cycle.
All electronic and electrical products must bear the “green stamp” fee, as their materials are 100% recyclable and should not end up in landfills. The fee aims to raise consumer awareness about the proper disposal of such products.
Occupational Health and Safety Policy
ELBA considers occupational health and safety as integral to the performance of its activities and processes, directly or indirectly contributing to product realization. Special emphasis is placed on:
- Continuously complying with occupational health and safety legislation, standards, and regulations
- Preventing and minimizing accident risks and occupational illnesses, as well as mitigating their consequences
The Occupational Health and Safety Management System is certified according to OHSAS 18001.
