Over 50 Years as an Automotive Supplier

A traditional partner and supplier since the 1970s to Dacia Pitești, ELBA is now a key provider for the entire Romanian automotive industry.

In 1952, ELBA produced its first headlights and lamps for tractors and trucks.

Between 1956 and 1970, the company developed headlights specifically for Dacia vehicles.

Since 1976, all products for the automotive industry have been certified with the European mark E19. ELBA supplies lighting components for all Dacia models and other vehicles.

During 2003-2004, ELBA made significant investments to modernize production technologies, aligning with the requirements of Dacia Renault Group.

In 2004, the factory obtained ISO/TS 16949 certification, specific to the automotive industry, complementing its ISO 9001 certification.

Today, ELBA collaborates with some of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers, including Stellantis, Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, Volkswagen Group, and Ford Motor Company, reflecting its commitment to excellence in the automotive sector.

Research and Development

ELBA’s factory features a dedicated Design and Development Department where all related processes are conducted. Activities adhere to APQP procedures and project management principles. Specialists continuously receive training and utilize advanced design methods, including 3D and 2D software such as ProEngineer, CATIA, Euclid, AutoCAD, Speos, and Light 3D. Product development complies with IATF 16949 standards and advanced product quality planning procedures.
