APOLLO-02 LED

The APOLLO family of lighting fixtures provides a solution to the challenges faced by municipal authorities: ensuring people’s safety while saving energy and reducing maintenance costs.

APOLLO combines a distinctive design with high-quality lighting, seamlessly integrating into urban architecture.

APOLLO is a modern family of street lighting fixtures, equipped with next-generation light sources featuring an extended lifespan and high-performance LED modules.

APOLLO is energy-efficient and has a positive environmental impact.

Its advanced optical system, with uniform distribution, allows for the replacement of HID solutions without compromising distances, mounting heights, or light quality. It requires no interventions for light source replacement, and the metal housing ensures recyclability.

With options for arm or top pole mounting and various dimensions, APOLLO offers flexible placement solutions.

Models:

Description

  • Housing: Die-cast aluminum, smooth finish without grooves, powder-coated in an electrostatic field.
  • Mounting System: Integrated stub for pole or arm mounting, adjustable between 0-20° in 5° increments (0°, 5°, 10°, 15°, 20°).
  • Diffuser: Transparent, flat, thermally treated tempered glass that shatters into small pieces upon breakage, secured with screws.

Optical System:

  • Designed to meet the requirements of SR EN 13201 for street lighting, featuring high-power LEDs with PMMA lenses providing asymmetric distribution for each LED. Suitable for roadways, large areas, pedestrian pathways, intersections, and crosswalks depending on the variant.
  • Distribution Integrity: Unaffected by individual LED failures; each LED provides a complete light pattern.
  • LED Options: Available in configurations of 24, 48, 64, or 80 LEDs, depending on the variant.
  • Total Luminous Flux: Determined by the number of LEDs and/or their driving current.
  • Removable LED Board: Directly mounted on the housing, acting as a heatsink to ensure low thermal resistance.

Compartments:

  • Separate compartments for optics and electrical components, both accessible with quick-release clips for maintenance, repair, or post-warranty replacements.

Driver:

  • Included LED electronic driver complies with specific standards.
  • DALI Driver for DA, N, NEMA, and N+Z variants:
    • Compatible with the LED type, dimmable, and programmable.
    • Supports Constant Lumen Output (CLO) system.
    • Allows dimming by up to 75% in 1% increments.
    • Maintains constant luminous flux over LED lifespan through control systems.

Protections:

  • Thermal protection with LED module equipped with an NTC thermistor.
  • Surge protection: L-N, 10kV.
  • Short-circuit protection.

Additional Features:

  • N+Z variant equipped with standardized NEMA 7-pin and Zhaga connectors.
  • SMART communication interface for DA, N, NEMA, and N+Z variants.
  • Color: Standard gray or other RAL colors upon request.

Application Areas:

  • Street lighting for main, local, and secondary roads with lighting classes ME2 to ME6, S1 to S6 per SR EN 13201.
  • Residential lighting for alleys, sidewalks, parks, and crosswalks.
  • Public spaces such as parking lots, train stations, bus terminals, and large open areas.

Light Source:

  • High-power LEDs with specialized optics for street and residential lighting.
  • Color temperature options:
    • Warm white (3000K, CRI ≥ 80)
    • Neutral white (4000K, CRI ≥ 80)
    • Optional: Cool white (5700K, 5000K, CRI ≥ 70).
  • Lifespan at Ta = 25°C: L80B10 > 115,890 hours.

Equivalent Replacement:

  • Apollo-01 LED: Replaces mercury vapor lamps (HME 80W, 125W), compact fluhoursscent lamps (TC-L 36W, 2x24W), sodium vapor lamps (HST 50W, 70W, 100W), and metal halide lamps (HIT 70W).
  • Apollo-02 LED: Replaces mercury vapor lamps (HME 250W, 400W), sodium vapor lamps (HSE 250W, 150W), and metal halide lamps (HIE 150W, HIT 150W).
  • Apollo-02 LED P: Replaces sodium vapor lamps (HSE 150W, HST 150W) and metal halide lamps (HIE 150W).

Customizable Options:

  • LED color temperatures: cool white (5700K, 5000K, CRI ≥ 70), neutral white (4000K), or warm white (3000K, CRI ≥ 70).
  • Vandal-resistant polycarbonate diffuser (PC) rated IK10.
  • RAL color customization for the housing upon request.
  • Telemanagement system enabling operation at pre-set illumination levels adjustable through the application.
