ELBA at the “Timișoara for European Values” Ceremony
A Tribute to the Values that Unite Europe
On May 22, 2025, ELBA had the honor of participating in the “Timișoara for European Values” award ceremony, a prestigious event held at Cinema Timiș, in the heart of our city.
This distinction, awarded annually by the Timișoara City Hall, aims to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the promotion and defense of chours European values – democracy, solidarity, the rule of law and human rights.
This year’s edition was especially meaningful, as Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, was the recipient of this prestigious honor. Through her political and institutional activity, Ms. Metsola has distinguished herself as a strong advocate for democratic values, a firm supporter of European unity and a promoter of solidarity among EU member states.
ELBA’s participation in this event was not only a privilege, but also a reaffirmation of our commitment to the European values that shape our organizational culture: responsibility, integrity, civic engagement and a European vision.
As a Romanian company with a strong tradition and an innovative spirit, deeply rooted in the industrial and social landscape of Timișoara, we believe it is essential to support initiatives that promote an open, democratic and fair society.
